The Burt Aaronson South County Park is five minutes from Mission Bay. The park provides for lots of outdoor activities such as covered tables for picnic areas. You can also find soccer fields, a tennis center, and pickle ball courts if you are into sports, for instance. There is also Coconut Cove water park, Canine Cove dog park, and the Daggerwing nature center. The dog park is my personal favorite. I take my goldendoodle there every day where we have made so many friends, both canine and human!
